HARNESSING CONSCIOUSNESS
Through the Planetization inner work, we generate and ground new energies of emotional connectivity and coherence into our Collective Consciousness Field, or Noosphere, which is currently in a pre-convergent or random energetic state. With the inner work, we take our spiritual unfoldment out of the realm of flowery metaphor and can begin to create the Heaven on Earth that has always been the true goal of our human existence. Our Collective Consciousness Field won't evolve into a state of coherence on its own. We must bring it about by our own efforts. The Planetization inne work phase-entrains our individual points of consciousness together during the short periods of time we're engaged in this work. This phase-entraining of consciousness is something that occurs normally and naturally in the course of our lives - only never before on a planetary scale. Before going into the specifics of the inner work, it might be a good idea to discuss briefly just what consciousness is.

Consciousness is not confined within the bony contours of our skull. It's much more than the individual ‘stream of consciousness’ thoughts that go through our mind. Consciousness is an aspect of our spiritual nature, and understanding just how it works (both individually and collectively), is important to fully grasp the significance of our having reached this stage in our evolution where creating coherence in our Collective Consciousness Field is now possible. This higher state of coherence is an evolutionary watershed mark for ourselves - and for our Earth. For a number of reasons, Consciousness Studies has only begun to be given the scholarly attention it's always deserved. In an ideal world, we all would have learned about our consciousness back in grade school the same way we were taught about our five senses and our digestive organs. We would've all been taught about its collective ‘wave’ nature and how to effectively utilize this collective force for good as a form of spiritual practice. Eventually the growing body of knowledge within the field of Consciousness Studies will begin to trickle down into our mainstream thinking... It's just a matter of time.

The TV Model Of Consciousness
Just why coherence in our Collective Consciousness Field - the Noosphere - is so crucial, and why it holds so much hope for our future, can best be illustrated by a rough analogy with how a TV set works. Turn to any non-broadcast channel on your TV and all you'll see is electronic ‘snow’, and all you'll hear is static. The little dancing dots on the TV screen are electrons in a chaotic state of excitation. There's no pattern to their movement. They dance around randomly. Now turn to a broadcast channel. There you’ll see a clear image from a TV show. Rather than electronic static, you’ll hear intelligible, understandable voices. What’s the difference? The clear TV show image is made up of the same little dots that make up the electronic 'snow' on the non-broadcast channel. The only difference is that they're in a state of coherence. In a state of coherence, or unity, the electrons can transform a specific frequency signal sent from a TV station’s transmitter from pure energy - to meaningful images and sound. This is only a rough analogy because the specifics of TV transmission gives a little more complicated picture, but the essential point of the analogy is correct. A random motion, chaotic state, can produce nothing but snow and static... It's only when the electrons are in a coherent state that a TV set can really function as such, and display images and produce meaningful sounds.

A New Kind of Revolution
Learning to harness our consciousness energies will initiate a revolution the likes of which our world has never seen. Being energy-based, it's a revolution that requires no army or weaponry. Nor does it depend on angry, hate-filled rhetoric or fear mongering to marshal its forces, or drum up support for its cause. This new revolutionary movement can swiftly shift the balance of power away from the small global elite, those roughly ten thousand individuals who've appropriated for themselves a disproportionate share of our planet's resources. It overcomes them not with weapons of death - but with a single-minded collective focus to do what our situation now requires through the immense power of our actualized spiritual nature.
This revolution will utilize the two most powerful forces in the Universe; forces no advanced weaponry can ever hope to defeat. The second most powerful force in the Universe which the Planetization inner work actualizes is the power of our Collective Consciousness Field in a coherent state. The first, single most powerful force in the Universe (which Teilhard de Chardin also foresaw us one day harnessing)...is Love. No weapons system in the world can defeat this consciousness and Love-based revolutionary impulse whose time has come, any more than they can shoot out the light from a gathering dawn.
