Prayer to Mother Earth

   We re-join in blessed reverie

the web of all creation

To celebrate the trees, and the wild things that bloom

and mild-eyed creatures who bay and the Moon

 

We pray once more

With heartfelt gratitude to our most holy Earth Mother

For the rich and diverse family of life

She brings forth.

For the lush extravagance of Her bounty

That has nourished and sustained us

Through all the generations of our kind

And for giving us a home

Among the firmament of stars.

 

   Our kind re-joins together in heart and mind

with prayers of gratefulness

and prayers of love and loyalty

To She Who Bears Us Through the Heavens

Our beautiful blue/white jewel among the stars.
